There is another name on your ticket. Is this a problem?

Someone else's name is on your ticket. Is this a problem?

The cases are different depending on the type of ticket you buy.

  • For Concerts, Shows, Parks and Sports tickets

It is possible that the name of the original seller still appears on the ticket you purchased on PasseTonBillet. Unfortunately, we cannot modify the name on the ticket for all events. However, you will still be able to access the event with this ticket, even if the name on the ticket doesn’t match your own. Event organizers typically do not conduct identity checks, ensuring smooth access for all attendees.

Additionally, with our security system in place, a malicious seller has no incentive to use PasseTonBillet to resell a ticket multiple times, as this would be quickly detected and blocked:

  • You can open a dispute and request a refund
  • It will not be paid because the money is blocked until the event
  • Their account may be suspended on PasseTonBillet
  • We have all their contact details (name, bank account, ID, etc.) and we report the fraud to the authorities and event organizers

  • For Train tickets

Train tickets are nominative, but in the majority of cases, the name written on the ticket is not verified by the carrier at the time of control. Which explains why many people buy and resell Eurostar© train tickets, OUIGO©... on the Internet.
