What security protocols are implemented by PasseTonBillet on ticket exchanges?

At PasseTonBillet, several security protocols are deployed to secure peer-to-peer ticket resale.

The measures implemented may vary depending on the event, the type of ticket, and the organizer’s requirements. The protocol applied is always specified on the event page.

🔐 Key security measures

  • E-ticket analysis

Each ticket is analyzed (consistency, price, barcode) to detect potential anomalies.

  • Price capping

Resale is strictly regulated. The price cannot exceed the original face value of the ticket.

  • Seller verification (KYC)

Before any payout, the following information is verified:

  • Identity document
  • Email address
  • Bank details (IBAN)

  • Deferred payment after the event

Funds are held until the event takes place, then released to the seller after the event, allowing time to handle potential disputes.

  • Barcode control

Barcodes may be checked and analyzed, including in connection with partner ticketing systems.

  • Ticket reissuance (depending on the event)

In some cases, a new ticket is generated in the buyer’s name with a unique barcode.

  • Customer support and dispute management

In case of an issue, a dispute can be opened from the user account. Each case is reviewed by our team.

⚠️ Limitations

Despite these controls, an invalid or fraudulent ticket may exceptionally go undetected.

PasseTonBillet cannot guarantee that a ticket is not simultaneously listed on other external platforms.

🚫 Anti-fraud policy

In case of proven fraud:

  • Permanent suspension of the account
  • Transmission of information to the relevant authorities and the event organizer
