Why was my ID refused?

The security of transactions between buyers and dellers is our priority. In accordance with the “Know Your Customer” KYC regulations, identity verification is mandatory to receive money when selling a ticket.

To have your profile verified, you must first submit a photo of your ID ( photo taken with your smartphone and never scan ) and submit it in the 'My Profile' > 'Verify my Identity' tab.
Then, the information will be quickly (15 minutes) validated or rejected by our financial partner MangoPay.

Are you having a problem getting your ID validated? Here are our recommendations:

The photo must be taken with your smartphone (never scan) / No flash, no visible reflection on your photo
Send a photo of your passport, double-page inside front, as below
If it is a photo of your national identity card, send the front and back
Make sure the photo is fully legible and of good quality
No black and white photos
The expiration date of the identity document must not have passed
Avoid residence permits, it is preferable to put your foreign passport
Accepted formats are: pdf, jpg, jpeg, png

The information indicated on your PasseTonBillet profile must be identical to those indicated on your identity document

Last name, including maiden name (with spaces and hyphens)

You can modify this information in the "My Profile / My Information" tab then try to send your identity document again.
