What is SCA and how can you validate it?

Version française : Lire cet article en français

For transactions made before 16 January 2026, PasseTonBillet applied SCA (Strong Customer Authentication), a legal requirement under European regulations.
It is designed to secure online payments and requires strong identity verification before any bank transfer.

When do you need to validate it?

Only for transactions made before 16 January 2026.

SCA may be requested only after you have sold a ticket.
You do not need to activate it beforehand: everything will appear automatically in your profile after your first sale.

How can you validate your SCA and receive your payment?

There are 3 steps:

  1. Validate your SCA

A window will open automatically to confirm your identity through your bank, either via your banking app or by SMS.
It is quick, secure and required to receive your payment.
2. Add your IBAN

Once SCA has been validated, you can enter your bank account details for the transfer.
3. Upload your ID

This final step verifies that you are the account holder. It only needs to be completed once.

Until these steps are completed, your payment will remain pending.
