# Train tickets: how can you remove the booking reference?

If your train ticket comes from a booking that includes multiple tickets, you must mask the booking reference before uploading it to PasseTonBillet.

### Why?

This reference provides access to all tickets within the same booking. If it is visible, a third party could easily use or modify other associated tickets.

### Responsibility

Ensuring the ticket is compliant is the sole responsibility of the seller. PasseTonBillet cannot be held responsible for any damages resulting from:
- fraudulent use 
- booking modification 
- ticket invalidation 

### How to mask the booking reference

- Computer: Preview (Mac) or Adobe Acrobat 
- Mobile: use annotation tools on your smartphone 
- Online: use iLovePDF or an equivalent service 

### ⚠️ Important

Only the booking reference should be masked. 
The barcode / QR code must remain strictly unchanged.
